London Skolars have announced the re-signing of two more players whilst a dual registered player from last season has signed for the club on a permanent basis.

John Paxton has been with the club since 2009 when he started playing whilst at Leeds Metropolitan University. In 2011 Paxton was part of the Great Britain Academic Lions who went to Australia and pulled off a remarkable series win. Last season Paxton was able make 21 first team starts for Skolars, mostly from wing, contributing 4 tries in the process. During his Skolars career to date Paxton has made 55 appearances scoring 16 tries.

Joe Price started 20 matches for Skolars last season and was a consistent performer throughout the 2012 campaign running in 11 tries.  In his career with Skolars Price has made 61 appearances scoring 64 points.

Joe Ridley spent the 2012 season with Skolars as a dual registered player and the club are delighted that, following his release from London Broncos, he has signed for Skolars on a permanent basis. Ridley made 5 appearances for Skolars in 2012, starting 3 games and he’ll be looking to make an impact in the coming season.
