Oxford are delighted to officially announce the signing of former Oldham utility player Valu Bentley who is the first player to have signed for the club.

"Valu fits really well between the tough stuff in the middle, taking the ball up and playing at six with having a good pass on him" said Oxford coach Tony Benson "He can switch between those positions during a game, which is really valuable to us."

Oxford's ranks grew again with the confirmation of David Ellison signing for the club. Ellison is a prop forward who began his career at Wigan and had spells with Swinton and London Skolars and more recently with Oldham. Coach Tony Benson reveald;“I’m thrilled and proud to secure Dave, the loyalty shown to me by him is a great quality and his desire to play rugby for me will be exemplary to others as we integrate the squad.”

David was equally trilled and said "a big factor in my decision was the chance to work with Tony again and also being a part of history as we enter our first season in Championship One" he also added "I am looking forward to the challenge ahead and making our home ground a fortress, it's exciting times."
