BRISTOL SONICS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Bristol Sonics, the West of England's leading Rugby League club, are looking for new volunteers to help the club's development and expansion efforts from 2013 onwards.

The Sonics are looking to fill a number of essential roles on the club's committee and management board. In addition, the club is keen to find volunteers to assist with match day management and junior development throughout the region.

Anyone interested in getting involved with Rugby League in Bristol and South Gloucestershire is urged to attend the club's Annual General Meeting, which will take place at Clifton RFC, Henbury, this Thursday, 29 November (7.30pm start).

The Annual General Meeting will also cover the Sonics' ambitious plans for 2013, which include potential inclusion in an exciting new national Rugby League competition and developing close links with professional clubs in the wider region. Interested future fans and volunteers are just as welcome as existing members, fans and players.

Bristol Sonics' Chairman Phil Cole said: "I'd like to encourage any interested fans and would-be volunteers to attend the AGM if at all possible. We are currently recruiting, not just for volunteer match day roles, but also roles on our management committee.

"If you think you have the time, skills and passion to get involved in one of Bristol's most successful sports clubs of recent years, do not hesitate to come along. If you are interested but cannot make the meeting, please get in touch and let us know."
