Sheffield coach fined for verbal abuse

Sheffield Eagles coach Mark Aston has been fined £250 after the RFL found him guilty of using foul and abusive language to a match referee during a Co-operative Championship fixture at Halifax on August 5, 2012.
Aston was deemed to be in breach of Operational Rule D.18 (c) (Prejudicial Conduct) and the sport’s Respect Policy.
Aston was instructed to pay £125 immediately with a further £125 suspended until the end of the 2013 season.
