South Wales Scorpions player Tom Morgan has been suspended for six matches after a RFL Tribunal found him guilty of racially abusing an opponent in a Championship One fixture against London Skolars.

Morgan, who failed to respond to contact from the RFL, was found guilty in his absence of using offensive or obscene language based on race or ethnic origin against London Skolars player Lamont Bryan.

South Wales Scorpions have confirmed that the Tom Morgan who has been banned by the Rugby Football League left the club due to an unrelated matter in July.

The club still has a player on their books, Thomas Morgan, a Wales Student international, who should not be confused with the former player.
