The 2012 Community Game Raffle has been the best yet with over 45,000 tickets sold.

The raffle has more than doubled its popularity since its launch back in 2008 and plans are already in place for that success to carry on.

“It has been another amazing year for the raffle and I would like to thank everyone for their efforts over the last year,” said Richard Donlon, Raffle Manager.

“We have built on the success we had last year and the target for us now is to continue that trend for years to come.”

Now that the deadline for receiving tickets has passed the RFL can also reveal the biggest selling clubs of the year.

Crosfields are the big winners after selling an outstanding 2,518 tickets. The Warrington-based club’s efforts will be rewarded with a bumper prize which includes a hospitality box at next year’s Super League Grand Final, whilst they were pushed all the way by Leeds outfit Stanningley who returned just under 2,000 sold ticket stubs.
