France beat Wales in a fiery encounter 20 points to 6. Playing in Lens, outside the French Rugby League's southern heart land, the French still enjoyed strong home support. All the tries were scored in the first half with the three French scores coming in a 10 minute spell. The second half saw exceptional Welsh goal line defence denying the French a further score, as well as a fight which saw both teams lose a player for ten minutes. The two sides will now prepare to face England later in the Autumn Internationals tournament, Wales next week in Wrexham and France the following week at Craven Park ahead of the final at The City of Salford Stadium. SLTV caught up with Olivier Elima, Craig Kopczak, Iestyn Harris and Lee Briers for all the post-match action.
