London Broncos have appointed former Hull KR hooker Ben Fisher to their coaching staff for 2013.

The 31-year-old Australian spent the 2012 season on loan at Catalan Dragons after ending his lengthy career at Hull KR but will now hang up his boots to become an assistant to London head coach Tony Rea.

“Ben is a person who has displayed the character attributes needed to be effective as he transforms his experiences as a player into his abilities to coach,” said Rea.

The Broncos have also appointed Gloucester’s Barny Allen as head of strength and conditioning, with former Under-20s player Aiden Oakley as his assistant.
