Richard Silverwood has been appointed as referee for the 2012 Stobart Super League Grand Final between Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos at Old Trafford, Manchester, on Saturday October 6 (6.00pm)

Silverwood, who was in charge when Warrington and Leeds met in the 2012 Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley Stadium in August, last officiated a Grand Final in 2010 when Wigan Warriors defeated St Helens 22-10.

He will be joined by touch-judges James Child and Clint Sharrad. Phil Bentham will be video referee.

Barry Lilley has been appointed as Match Commissioner while the reserve referee is Ben Thaler. Tim Roby is reserve touch-judge.
