Match Preview and Squad announcement

Reittie set for Halifax return

Wayne Reittie looks set to return to Karl Harrison's Halifax line-up, while Ross Divorty is also available for the start of the Co-operative Championship play-offs.

Harrison has warned Keighley Cougars - and every other team in the Championship - that Halifax are ready to fight for the title.

He said: "We've a little bit of character in the squad and we've some big game players, but every team in the Championship has that.

"It's been an absolutely outstanding competition, and any one of the six can get to the Grand Final and win.

"It would have been nice to finish in the top two, but that wasn't to be."

He added: "Against Batley we showed character and how we can turn games around, and we showed lots of composure as well.

"We'll work on a few things and try to surprise Keighley. Our aim is the Grand Final, like every other team in the play-offs."

Cougars have Semi Tadulala returning from a calf injury, while Andy Shickell and Sam Obst lead a group of players returning to the fold after being rested last week.

Keighley coach Jason Demetriou said: "A big part of doing well against Halifax is controlling the ruck speed, but that's not the only thing.

"They've got some quality players right across the park, and you've to control their second phase because Sam Barlow gets lots of good offloads in.

"They've also got some good outside backs - probably the best in the division - but we've got strength ourselves.

"If we play to our best then we'll compete and have a good chance of coming away with a win, but the big thing is each player performing at their top level."
