Red Hall opens to the public
As part of a nationwide English Heritage celebration, the RFL’s headquarters at Red Hall in Leeds will be open to the public on Saturday September 8 between 10.00am and 1.00pm.
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to view a selection of historic Rugby League trophies which will be on show in the Boardroom and will also be able to view the Rugby League Hall of Fame and Roll of Honour.
The grounds of the property which was built in 1650 and now hosts the national governing body of Rugby League in the UK will also be open to the public on the day.
The Heritage Open Days takes place over four days in September each year throughout Europe.
In Britain they are co-ordinated by the Civic Trust in London and locally, by Leeds Civic Trust. Typically in Leeds, there are over 70 events for the public to see or do over the four days.
