Clinical Leigh tame Lions

Tommy Gallagher scored two tries as Leigh eased to a 48-12 victory over Swinton Lions in the final game of the regular season.

The other Leigh tries came from Jonathan Pownall, Bob Beswick, Martyn Ridyard, Matt Gardner, Gregg McNally and Anthony Nicholson. Martyn Ridyard kicked seven goals and Gregg McNalley also slotted over one successful kick.

Swinton, who trailed 30-6 at the break, scored tries through Sam Reay and Martin Ainscough, with Ian Mort kicking two goals.
