Doncaster finish top

Lucas Walshaw and Lee Waterman scored a brace of tries apiece as Doncaster secured their first ever trophy in clinching the Co-operative Championship 1 league leaders shield with a 48-8 win over London Skolars.

Carl Hughes, Craig Fawcett, Danny Cowling, Dean Colton and Chris Spurr also crossed in the rout at New River Stadium with Paul Cooke adding six goals.

A pair of first-half tries from John Paxton is all Skolars could manage.
