Match Preview and Squad announcement

Adebishi return boosts Skolars

Ade Adebisi looks set to return to action in London Skolars' Co-operative Championship 1 clash with Whitehaven after missing his side's last two games through illness.

Skolars coach Joe Mbu has set his sights on the Co-operative Championship play-offs, and believes victory on Friday would put his side within touching distance of a top-six finish.

Mbu said: "While we may have to rely on results elsewhere, I'm sure that two home wins in our last two games would take us into the play-offs."

Whitehaven coach Don Gailer is without Stephen Fox (ankle), but Andreas Bauer and Luke Isakka will both be included on the bench.

Gailer said: "Our starting 13 is the same as the last few weeks, and it's great to have a bit of continuity. It's also good to see Luke and Andreas forcing their way back in at the business end of the season."

He added: "London have put on some big scores in the last month, and they're playing some good footy.

"They're an outside chance for the play-offs, and every game is like a Grand Final for them right now."

The clash will be Gailer's first experience of London's innovative Friday Night Lights fixture.

Gailer said: "We're sending down about six buses from here, and I'm told there'll be fans from all over the place.

"It should give all the players a buzz, and it's just a matter of keeping your head about you. Once you cross that white line you've just got to stay focused."
