London Broncos have allowed former coach Rob Powell to leave the club with immediate effect.

The 31-year-old had remained with the Broncos despite being asked to step down from the top job last month after returning just nine wins in his 18-month reign.

He was replaced on an interim basis by Tony Rea and has now left the Stoop altogether, with London confirming in a statement that they “wish him every success for the future”.
