Sheffield v Featherstone preview.
Eagles set for change
Sheffield Eagles coach Mark Aston is ready to make changes to his squad for the Co-operative Championship clash with Feathestone after last week's 30-20 win over Hunslet.
Struggling Hawks led 20-12 at half-time, and Aston, who rested Misi Taulapapa, Peter Green, Sam Scott and Ryan Hepworth, could now recall all four for Thursday's televised clash with league leaders Rovers.
Sheffield's Duane Straugheir will definitely miss out after being handed a one-match ban by the RFL's Disciplinary Committee.
Rovers coach Daryl Powell needs two wins from the final two regular weeks of the season to guarantee a third consecutive League Leaders Shield.
Powell said: "Six points would get the job done, so we'll go to Sheffield and focus.
"They beat us at home, so we know they're a tough side, but we'll try to get the result against them. That would give us a great opportunity to finish top of the tree."
Powell's men won 86-12 against Swinton last week, their 14th victory in 16 Co-operative Championship fixtures this year.
Powell said: "We've talked about starting to enjoy ourselves again. We've been under a bit of pressure, but we chilled out and the performance was there for all to see.
"We got a more relaxed, more composed performance, and that's what we needed.
"We've got high standards and we want to achieve this season. To be able to do that we've got to play right on top of our game and there are not many games left, so that's narrowing our focus."
Jonny Hepworth is set to miss out for Featherstone, as he battles to overcome a back injury.
