Jonny Leather also bagged a brace and Steven Roper, Stephen Bannister and Andy Taylor crossed, with Paul Crook kicking five goals for the hosts.
Courtney Davies and Kristian Hawkes converted Ben Gilbert and David James' tries to help South Wales go in to half-time level at 12-12, but they were unable to add any points after the interval.
