Workington v Barrow preview.
Charlton calls for tighter defence
Brett Carter could return for Workington Town, but joint-coach Gary Charlton now expects Daniel Rooney and Jonathan Dawes to miss the rest of the season.
Charlton said: "Barrow have got good players in key positions. Liam Harrison has played well all year, and Andy Ballard's been solid at the back.
"They're a decent team that play good rugby, and we've to combat that with good defence on Sunday.
"We've only conceded 226 points in 14 games, so our defence has been working well. I certainly can't fault the boys' effort, but we've to be even tighter this week and fully switched on for what Barrow might throw at us.
"At the other end, we've got to make sure our attack is better than it was against Doncaster a couple of weeks ago."
Barrow Raiders are expected to travel with an unchanged squad from last week's win over Oldham, with only Jack Pedley ruled out through injury.
Coach Darren Holt said: "We were good in the first half against Oldham, and poor in the second half. We need a full performance this week, because you can't go to top-end teams and not perform.
"Performing for 20 or 30 minutes won't be enough. If we perform for 80 minutes we'll be confident of getting the result, but it'll be a typical Cumbrian derby - whoever performs on the day will get the points."
