Hull FC have given teenage centre Ben Crooks a two-year extension to his contract.

The 19-year-old son of former Hull and Great Britain forward Lee Crooks was under contract for another year but is now tied to the club until the end of 2015.

He made his debut in the Carnegie Challenge Cup against Huddersfield Giants in April and has since scored five tries in nine Stobart Super League appearances.

Crooks said: "I'm delighted to have been given an extended contract and to be given the chance to really test myself at Super League level.

"I have loved every minute of my time in the first team this season and making my debut and scoring my first senior tries have been a dream come true."

Hull coach Peter Gentle said: "He is a big part of the future at the club. Along with the other youngsters who have made their debuts this year, they haven't let anyone down."
