Leigh run riot over Hunslet

Mid-table Leigh eased to a comfortable 36-6 Co-operative Championship victory over bottom side Hunslet.

Hunslet were outplayed in all departments as Tommy Goulden and Matt Gardner got Leigh off to a flyer inside 10 minutes, while Sam Hopkins, Rob Parker and Greg McNally made sure of a one-sided contest in the first half.

Stuart Littler scored early on after the interval to all but settle matters as Josh Nathaniel's consolation effort for Hunslet in the 72nd minute proved too little late.
