Skolars defeat Rochdale in try-fest

London Skolars beat Rochdale 56-36 to claim their seventh Co-operative Championship 1 victory of the season.

The high-scoring match at New River Stadium saw the home side score nine tries, with Andy McLean grabbing a hat-trick, and Lamont Bryan, Brad Hopkins, Dylan Skee, James Anthony, Ade Adebisi and Robert Thomas also crossing over.

Skee had a good day at the office, with the scrum-half kicking 10 goals to go with his try.

Rochdale managed six tries themselves, with Steve McDermott grabbing a brace, and Stephen Bannister, Dayne Donoghue, Dale Bloomfield and Danny Ekis also crossed over.

Paul Crook kicked six goals for the away side.
