Match Preview and Squad announcement

No worries for Demetriou

Keighley Cougars coach Jason Demetriou has a full squad to pick from against Dewsbury.

The Cougars are battling to catch the top five clubs in the Co-operative Championship.

Demetriou said: "We're really happy with how the season's gone for us. We're in the top six, and we've been there all season.

"We want to get a top-six finish guaranteed as soon as possible, and then start looking further up the table."

Demetriou has dismissed suggestions Dewsbury Rams coach Warren Jowitt could be forced out of retirement, saying: "I think it's all hype. It'll be a big effort if he pulls on the boots again, but I don't think there's any chance he'll play."

However, Jowitt insists the Rams' injury crisis is only getting worse.

Jowitt said: "Steve Crossley is definitely out, Ben Jones is out, and Matt Nicholson (shoulder) only has a 40 per cent chance of playing.

"On top of that, at training on Tuesday we had Rob Spicer, Josh Tonks, George Flanagan and Daley Williams all down with a sickness bug. Hopefully it's just a 24-48 hour thing, but it's still going to knock them sideways.

"It's going to be a tough challenge for us. Everything's going against us, but we've had some hurdles to get over this year and we'll have to do the same again this week."

He added: "Even Adam Hayes has said he'll play this week, so if the worst comes to worst, we'll both have to get our boots on."
