Whitehaven outscored Rochdale by five tries to two to secure a 31-12 victory over their Co-operative Championship 1 rivals.

Jamie Rooney, Lewis Palfrey, Craig Calvert, Joe Parker and Loz Hamzat touched down for Whitehaven, while Carl Rudd, Rooney and Carl Sice added five goals between them. Rooney also added a drop-goal.

Paul Crook and Jonny Leather scored tries for Rochdale, while Crook added two goals.
