Castleford Tigers full-back Richard Owen will miss his club’s Stobart Super League match against Widnes Vikings on Monday through suspension.

Owen was charged by the Rugby Football League’s match-review panel with punching Leeds Rhinos centre Carl Ablett during his side’s 40-22 defeat at Headingley on Sunday.

The Tigers say he has submitted an early-guilty plea to the grade B offence and accepted a one-match ban.
