Students return with heads held high

The England Women’s Students side returned from France earlier this week after a two-game tour.
Despite losing both their games – against club side Aquatine 8-6 and the full French national side 40-8 – head coach Mark Brennan was delighted with his squad’s efforts.
“I’m proud of every single player, the effort they showed has been outstanding and we really came together as a team,” said Brennan.
“The trip has been a great building process and we’ll aim to continue building towards our Pankhurst Cup game against the Combined Services in the autumn.”
