Masters Rugby League festival in Eccles

The Masters festival is open to all interested clubs with four teams already confirmed: Leeds Akkies, Leigh Miners, Bah-tats and Eccles; there is also a turn up and play team for individual players that fancy a run out
Masters is a strictly social version of Rugby League for players over 35 years of age and has slightly modified rules to cater for the older player.
There are no winners, no champions and no cup finals in Masters Rugby League, it is all about is the spirit of the game with the emphasis on enjoyment and the health benefits of continued participation.
The most important rule is that everyone has to buy a drink for their opposite number.
Teams are asked to meet at 10.30am on the day for an 11.00am kick-off with the event due to finish at 12.30.
