Odsal to stage champion finals

Odsal Stadium, Bradford is set to stage three finals next Wednesday – May 9 – when the Carnegie Champion Colleges and Carnegie Champion Schools Year 11 Boys and Year 11 Girls Finals are all set to be played.
The action will start at 4.00pm with Hopwood Hall and Wakefield meeting in the college showpiece.
Both sides booked their places with wins in the semi-finals which were staged in Derby yesterday, with Hopwood edging past London side Tiffin 16-10 and Wakefield overpowering Bristol’s Filton Academy 58-12.
The Year 11 Girls final will be the next contest to be staged when it kicks off at 6.15pm, whilst an exciting day of action concludes with the Year 11 Boys final at 7.30pm.

Hopwood Hall College (Rochdale) v Wakefield College
Carnegie Champion Schools Y11 Girls – KO 6.15pm
Castleford Academy v Deanery High (Wigan)
Carnegie Champion Schools Y11 Boys – KO 7.30pm
Sirius Academy (Hull) v St Benedicts (Whitehaven)
