L'Estrange cited

Bradford Bulls hooker Heath L’Estrange is facing punishment for the offence which earned his team-mate Bryn Hargreaves a red card.
Hargreaves was sent off for a “spear” tackle on England captain Jamie Peacock in the closing stages of the Bulls’ 12-4 Stobart Super League win over Leeds Rhinos at Odsal on Good Friday.
The Rugby Football League’s match-review panel today decided referee Ben Thaler dismissed the wrong man when they charged L’Estrange with a grade C dangerous throw offence.
Both Hargreaves and L’Estrange were involved in the tackle that saw Peacock up-ended and dumped onto his neck but the panel decided the blame should lie with the latter.
Warrington Wolves prop Garreth Carvell has also been charged with a grade C offence for kicking out in the 59th minute of his side’s victory over Widnes Vikings last Thursday.
The panel issued formal cautions to Castleford Tigers centre or second rower Brett Ferres, Wigan Warriors second rower Gareth Hock and Salford City Reds prop Lee Jewitt for incidents in matches over Easter.
