Rugby League mourns death of French Federation chief

The RFL has sent its condolences to the family of Hervé Guiraud, the Secretary General of the French Federation who died yesterday.
A former France international, M Guiraud was a board member of both the Rugby League European Federation and Rugby League International Federation and was a significant figure in the French game.
“On behalf of the RFL, the RLEF and RLIF I would like to extend my sympathies to the family of Hervé. All our thoughts are with them at this difficult time,” said RFL and RLEF Chairman Richard Lewis.
“Hervé was passionate about Rugby League and was a true internationalist. His energy and drive, both in France and on the European and International Federations, will be much missed.”
