Leeds take Plate final

Leeds City College 44 v 22 York College
A hot summer’s day saw Leeds race into a 28 v 0 half-time lead scoring five unanswered tries – the pick of which went to Jordan Anderson – with Eddie Salmon kicking four goals from five attempts.
The second half started off in the same way with Anderson grabbing his second within two minutes to stretch the lead.
York then threw caution to the wind and played some open entertaining rugby scoring three tries – two of which went to prop Flannan Naysmith – who along with back row forward Jamie Prince worked tirelessly for the whole game.
Charlie Hall kicked two from three for York but it was all in vain as Leeds ran out 44-22 winners with Anderson been named man-of-the-match.
