2012 Masters Rugby League festivals

The venues for the 2012 Masters Rugby league festivals have been announced and feature six central events across Yorkshire, Cumbria and the North West between April and September.
The calendar kicks off on Sunday April 22 at Shaw Cross in Dewsbury and takes in Eccles, Roose Pioneers, Wath Brow Hornets, Crosfields and finally West Hull on September 9.
All of these clubs have multi-pitch facilities which will provide great opportunities for the events.
Masters is a strictly social version of Rugby League for players over 35 years of age and has slightly modified rules to cater for the older player.
There are no winners, no champions and no cup finals in Masters Rugby League, it is all about is the spirit of the game with the emphasis on enjoyment and the health benefits of continued participation.
The most important rule is that everyone has to buy a drink for their opposite number.
