Ratchford set for lengthy absence

Warrington Wolves utility player Stefan Ratchford is set to miss the next three months after being told he needs to undergo shoulder surgery.
The 23-year-old, who has been an ever-present since joining the Wolves from Salford City Reds in the close season, hurt his shoulder in the 26-18 Stobart Super League defeat at Leeds Rhinos on Friday night.
A club spokesperson said: “Following an assessment of his shoulder, Warrington Wolves can confirm that Stefan will undergo surgery this evening and is expected to be out for up to 12 weeks.”
