Soliola victim of alleged assault - Saints

St Helens have confirmed that centre Sia Soliola was the victim of an alleged assault in the town last night.
In a brief statement on their official website tonight, the club said that the 25-year-old had "been injured as a result of an alleged assault by three men in St Helens on Sunday night".
The release also added that three men had been arrested.
Soliola has been an ever-present for the Saints so far this season and has been one of their better performers in what has been a poor start to the campaign.
He has scored two tries in six appearances, showing the form that persuaded the club to sign him from the Sydney Roosters ahead of the 2010 season.
He turned out for the Exiles in 2011 and is a New Zealand international.
Saints have yet to confirm if any absence from the side will be incurred as a result of his injuries.
