The 2012 Co-operative Championship campaign gets under-way tonight when Premier Sports broadcast their first ever live game of Championship Rugby League when Leigh Centurions host Batley Bulldogs at the Leigh Sports Stadium (7:30pm)

Batley go into the game on the back of a perfect start to the season, winning four from four during the Northern Rail Cup group stage while Leigh, who are still in contention to defend their Northern Rail crown, will be buoyed from a 42-0 win over Gateshead last week.

BBC London presenter In Ramsdale will be the first host of Premier’s Championship Rugby League coverage this season which begins at 7pm and he will be joined by experienced coach Brian Noble.

2011 Northern Rail Cup winner Robbie Hunter-Paul will also be in attendance to make the draw for the Quarter-finals of the 2012 Cup competition which will be screened live as part of the programmes pre-match build-up at 7:15pm.
