Three Stobart Super League players charged

Three players have been charged with offences during last weekend’s Stobart Super League Round Five fixtures.
Catalan Dragons player Setaimata Sa has been charged with Grade C dangerous contact during his side’s 36-12 defeat to Wigan Warriors on Sunday. The charge relates to alleged use of unnecessary pressure in a tackle on Wigan’s Chris Tuson in the 69th minute.
Warrington Wolves centre Chris Bridge has been charged with a Grade B intentional strike (use of the forearm) of Ben Jeffries in the 53rd minute of Warrington’s 23-10 victory over Bradford Bulls on Saturday.
Castleford Tigers forward Brett Ferres has been charged with a Grade B offence for making dangerous contact on Jay Pitts of Leeds Rhinos in the 11th minute of their 14-36 defeat on Friday.
All three were referred to the Disciplinary Committee after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel, which also issued formal caution to Epalahame Lauaki of Wigan Warriors for running into confrontation in the 69th minute against Catalan.
