Westerman woe for Hull

Hull FC have confirmed loose forward Joe Westerman will be sidelined for about three months after dislocating his shoulder in yesterday’s 22-14 win over London Broncos.
The former Castleford Tigers player was taken to hospital after the match and has since had scans ahead of undergoing surgery on Friday.
Hull coach Peter Gentle said: “We are tremendously disappointed for Joe as he was really starting to show signs of what we are looking for from him.
“He is a talented player and no doubt a loss to our side. However getting him fit and healthy for the rest of the season is now our main priority.
“It does mean it opens the door for another member of the squad to take the opportunity to step up and we’ll be looking to see who can do that over the coming weeks.”
