Rams fed for success

Dewsbury Rams have taken another step to a successful 2012 with the appointment of their first ever nutrition sponsor.
Powerhouse Fitness of Alexandra Mills, Batley have agreed to become a corporate partner of the Rams for the coming season in what has been described as a significant sponsorship deal by both parties. Powerhouse will supply the Rams with a range of Smart-Tec Isotonic Drinks and other Smart-Tec nutritional products throughout the season which will help to speed up and assist the players muscle recovery both during and after matches and training. This will be a major boost to players and will ensure that their bodies receive the correct nutritional products that they need to remain at peak fitness. Smart-Tec are the major brand leader and supplier of products to performance athletes and sportsmen and women and locally their products are only available through Powerhouse Fitness.
Rams’ coach Warren Jowitt said of the sponsorship agreement “we are absolutely delighted that Powerhouse Fitness have agreed to sponsor us in this way. Correct diet and nutrition is an essential part of the life of any athlete and with the demands of the modern game on the player’s bodies players need to look after themselves and to prepare in the best possible way and we are pleased to be able to endorse the Smart-Tec Range of Products. Ram’s Chairman Mark Sawyer added “we know that Smart-Tec already sponsor Hearts FC in Scotland so we are delighted that we are now able to take advantage of this sponsorship courtesy of Powerhouse Fitness”.
