South Yorkshire sides to clash in inaugural Autism Cup
Local rivals Sheffield Eagles and Doncaster Rugby League club are set to do battle in the inaugural Autism Plus South Yorkshire Cup at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster on Sunday, January 22 (3.00pm)
The game is set to launch a season long partnership between the Thorne based charity and both South Yorkshire neighbours, with the winners set to win a specially crafted trophy by Wentworth Pewter of Sheffield.
“The Autism Plus South Yorkshire Cup is helping to promote the great work we do, supporting people with autism and other complex conditions to live more independent lives,” said Corporate Partnerships Manager at Autism Plus, Mark Burton.
“There is a very impressive trophy on offer, and both teams will want to hold the honour of being the first Autism Plus South Yorkshire Cup winners.”
