Albania-born forward Olsi Krasniqi has signed a new three-year contract to remain with London Broncos until the end of 2014.

The 19-year-old prop, who moved with his family to Feltham at a young age, started playing rugby league at school in the area and came through the Broncos’ development system to gain England academy honours.

London Broncos coach Rob Powell said: “It is great to extend the contract of one of our most talented London players. It continues our philosophy of creating a squad that has a balance of London players with guys who have experience from elsewhere.”

Krasniqi, who has made 25 senior appearances in the last two seasons, said: “I’m really happy to have extended my contract for three years. There is nowhere else I want to be playing my rugby at the moment.”
