Gillette Four Nations final is the hottest ticket in town
Time is rapidly running out for Rugby League supporters wishing to attend Saturday’s must-see Gillette Four Nations final at Elland Road, Leeds, where England and Australia are set to do battle in front of a capacity crowd.
The RFL has experienced massive demand for tickets for the Four Nations decider since England booked their place in the final with a rousing 28-6 victory over world champions New Zealand at Hull last Saturday.
The capacity at Elland Road on Saturday is limited to just over 33,000 due to ongoing construction work on the East Stand, the top tier of which will be open for a match which sees England bid to avenge their 36-20 defeat by the Kangaroos at Wembley two weeks ago.
“Ticket sales for the final have been strong for some time but the demand has been phenomenal since the weekend and sales currently stand at close to 30,000,” said RFL Chief Operating Officer Ralph Rimmer.
“This match really is firing up the imagination of the Rugby League public and the atmosphere on Saturday is going to be really special.
“It goes without saying that we would love to post the ‘House full’ signs for England v Australia and the way things are going that looks likely to be the case.
“The message to anyone who hasn’t yet purchased a ticket is clear: if you want to see 2011 Gillette Four Nations final you had better move quickly.”
Tickets for the final cost from just £20 adult and £10 concession and are available by calling 0844 856 1113 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk
