Coventry Touch Rugby goes from strength to strength

Wednesday nights at the Xcel Centre is the place to be in Coventry with the RFL running a Touch Rugby League session which is going from strength to strength.
Touch Rugby has been run at the centre for three weeks with the number of participants increasing at every session. Everyone is welcome to come and take part regardless of experience or ability. It’s not about the winning it’s all about having fun and making friends.
Midlands League for All Officer, Ash Howlett said: “It’s great to see people coming out and enjoying themselves.
“Some of these people are new to Touch but they have picked it up in no time men and women don’t often get the chance to play team sports together so it’s good to see married couples taking part alongside individuals.”
Three Teams faced off this week with “Leanne’s Lads”, “The Elite” and “The Expendables” all going head to head.
Despite the success we always have room for more players so if you would like to join in the fun as a player, official or even spectator see www.PLAYTOUCHRUGBY.com for more details on this competition.
