Tonight's Gillette Conference Youth League Final is an all North West affair as Ince Rose Bridge face Thatto Heath Crusaders.

Wigan-based Ince will be looking to retain the title they won back in November last year, whilst Thatto will travel over the Pennines for their first ever Conference Youth League Grand Final appearance.

If form from the regular season is anything to go by then the final could be a close encounter as just a single point separated the two sides over 20 rounds of action.

Ince booked their place in the final after disposing of two Yorkshire sides in the play-offs, with both Hunslet Warriors and Holderness Vikings failing to halt the Wigan outfits progress, whilst the Crusaders were made to hit the road as they narrowly overcame Wigan St Judes and Keighley Cougar Cubs.

Both sides are able to call international quality players with Ince including Kenny Barker and Declan O’Loughlin in their squad, whilst fellow Community Lions Jack Jones and David Pike will line up for Thatto.
