Touch Rugby League at Lawnswood

The RFL are launching a new Touch Rugby League competition at Lawnswood YMCA in Leeds which will start this Monday October 3 and run every Monday for ten weeks between 6pm and 8pm.
Squads can be made up of a maximum of 10 players or as few as six and the cost for entry is £25 per week per team.
Touch Rugby League is good for fitness and being active without visiting the gym; it’s also a great social game which you can play with your friends.
It’s simple and easy to learn, and there is no tackling involved like in the full contact game, a simple touch constitutes as a play the ball so there is minimal risk of injury.
The RFL’s League For All Officer in Leeds, Pete Longbottom said: “Touch Rugby League is a fun and exciting way to stay fit and healthy and is one of the only sports where you can play in mixed teams.
“It’s an excellent introduction to the sport for those who have never played Rugby League before and is also a great social occasion.”
Any team that signs up by Monday 3rd October or quotes this article will receive their first week for free.
Spaces are limited so it will be first come first served. If you are interested in entering the league please confirm with RFL League for All Officer, Pete Longbottom on peter.longbottom@rfl.uk.com or 07515754053.
