Two players have been suspended by the RFL Disciplinary Committee after being found guilty of separate offences in a Co-operative Championship fixture between Widnes Vikings and Dewsbury Rams on July 10.

Dewsbury player James Lockwood was banned for one match after admitting the Grade B offence of making dangerous contact with an opponent in the 41st minute.

Dom Crosby of Widnes was suspended for one match after admitting the Grade B offence of making dangerous contact in the 67th minute.

Both players were also fined £50.

The RFL Disciplinary Committee found two other players not guilty of alleged offences in Championship fixtures.

Halifax prop Frank Watene was cleared of the Grade C charge of conduct against the spirit of the game by barging an opponent into the wall behind the dead ball line in the 38th minute of a match at Barrow Raiders on July 9.

Featherstone Rovers hooker Ben Kaye was also cleared of the Grade B offence of striking an opponent with his elbow in the 68th minute of a fixture against Hunslet Hawks on July 10.
