July Raffle Blog

The July competition for selling the most tickets is well and truly underway and like the weather it’s hotting up!
Ticket stubs and cheques are starting to be returned to us at Community Game Services and The South Leeds Academy have their eyes on the prize with 130 tickets returned so far.
The West Yorkshire school is closely followed by Peterlee Pumas who have so far sent in 102 tickets and with time ticking by who will sell the most?
If it’s anything like last month I’m sure a few clubs and schools will be making late entries and trying to take the prize on the last day of July, just as master tacticians Deanery High School did when they swooped to take the 25 Carnegie Challenge Cup Tickets on the last day of June.
Clubs should take note though, the postal service does not always deliver on time! If you don’t time it right then you may miss out on the three great prizes on offer!
The Gillette kit bags have proved particular popular in the past and every team would benefit from some more balls, water bottles and bibs. Plus the added attraction of tickets to International Cricket and Rugby League make this a prize worth winning.
More details on the prizes can be found here http://www.therfl.co.uk/community_raffle/monthly_competition
Keep your eyes on the website for daily updates on the front runners.
As well as tickets coming in, we’ve also had plenty going out.
Clubs and Schools are clamouring to get more tickets, so much so that we’ve had to have some more printed. Just because you’ve had your initial allocation there’s no reason why you shouldn’t ask for more!
Ordering more tickets could not be simpler. All you have to do is ring 01484 448000 or email communitygameservices@rfl.uk.com and let us know how many tickets you want. You can request as many tickets as you like, however, we’d ask that you return the majority of your previous order before we send out anymore.
Good luck to everyone and keep selling those tickets!!
