Halifax into final four
Halifax joined Leigh and Featherstone in the last four of the Northern Rail Cup thanks to a 36-26 win over Toulouse in their quarter-final in France.
The Yorkshiremen never looked back after running in four tries in the first 23 minutes through Rob Worrincy, Sean Penkywicz, Neil Cherryholme and Danny Jones.
Jones added a second before half-time and Paul White touched down in the second half while Graham Holroyd kicked six goals.
Gregory White, Timothy Wynn, Nicolas Faure, Constance Villegas and Darren Nicholls scored tries for Toulouse, with Damien Couturier kicked three goals.
The final place in the semi-final draw, to be made next Thursday, will be filled on Sunday when holders Batley go to neighbours Dewsbury.
