Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have reunited former Hull FC hooker Tommy Lee with his old coach John Kear.

The 22-year-old, who spent this season with Crusaders RL, has signed a two-year contract with Kear's Wildcats.

It was Kear who gave Lee his Engage Super League debut at Hull in 2005, and he went on to make 68 appearances for his home-town team, including one in the 2008 Carnegie Challenge Cup final, before linking up with the Crusaders.

Kear said: "Tommy is a player with unfulfilled potential and we are confident that whilst at the Wildcats he will blossom into an outstanding pivotal player.

"Tommy fits the Wildcats' 2011 recruitment policy of young British players with something to prove."

Lee becomes Wakefield's fifth confirmed recruit for 2011 following the signing of half-back Jeremy Smith, Hull KR second rower Frankie Mariano, Warrington Wolves winger Kevin Penny and Featherstone centre Jesse Joe Parker.
