Your chance to be Knights' Grand Final mascot

York City Knights are running a competition to become the team’s mascot on their biggest day for years – Sunday’s Championship One Grand Final against Oldham.
The name drawn out of a hat will get the opportunity to meet the players, and run out with the team onto the (Super League ground) Halliwell Jones Stadium turf, before the game, which will be televised live on Sky Sports. Over 15,000 fans are expected to fill the stadium as 3 finals will be played on the same day.
To be in with a chance of winning, parents or guardians should email their son or daughter’s full name and age, along with their full name, address, and daytime phone number, to Community Coach and Knights player Jack Stearman jack@ycknights.co.uk The mascot has to be aged between eight and 12.
The closing date for entries is this Thursday (Thursday 23rd September), at noon. All entries will be put into hatr and the winner drawn at random and will be contacted directly by the club.
