Matches in the Carnegie Floodlit 9s tournament which takes place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium tomorrow evening (Wednesday August 25) will be refereed by Match Officials from the Engage Super League and Co-operative Championship.

Full time Officials including Ben Thaler, Thierry Alibert and James Child will cover the competition which features eight Engage Super League teams alongside Northern Rail 9s winners Halifax and three International sides.

Stuart Cummings, RFL Match Officials Director said: “Nines Rugby League is a fast and skilful version of the game.

“With the teams that are competing this year it is only fair to provide the best officials in the game for the tournament.

“It is also good for the match officials’ development as they have to make decisions quickly and accurately in a fast flowing and physically demanding game.”

Turnstile prices have been set at £15 for Adults and £5 for Children under 16 and Concessions for the summer evening spectacular. A Family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 Children can pre purchase a ticket for just £20 saving £20 or 50%. With the same offer a family of 3 - 2 Adults and 1 child, save £15 while 2 adults on their own would save £10 or 25%.
