Keighley Cougars held their annual tackle tournament recently at Cougar Park with teams from across the area taking part.

In the Year 6 tournament Merlin Top and Settle Middle School reached the girls final with Oakworth and Nessfield getting to the final of the boys tournament.

Both matches were played prior to the Keighley Cougars v Featherstone Rovers match with Settle Middle School winning 10-1 in the girls final and Oakworth winning 7-6 in the boys final.

Community Development Manager Tom Hall said “It was a fantastic tournament with every team putting in good performances, everyone who took part should be really proud of themselves.”
